Jasmine Makanui provides executive-level support to the vice president, operations and chief financial officer, as well as multi-level support to the operations team by carrying out various administrative activities and special projects. Makanui has provided high-level executive support across diverse industries, including property management and higher education. Prior to joining the Foundation, she served as the executive assistant and paralegal to the senior vice president, general counsel and board secretary of Hawai‘i Pacific University (HPU), assisting with all administrative, legal, technical support and scheduling needs, and coordinated calendars and meeting logistics for the board of trustees. Makanui spent 11 years honing her skill in matters of organization, budget review, event management, legal secretarial support and board administration at HPU. Makanui is working on her Master of Arts degree in communications from Hawai‘i Pacific University and holds a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Brigham Young University, Hawaii.
