Partnerships focuses on building strategic alliances to generate cross-cutting ideas and actions that contribute to our organization’s mission-driven initiatives. We take a multi-sectoral approach to solving the entrenched problems that society faces: engaging philanthropy, private companies, government institutions, and civil society. Together we leverage our collective untapped potential and discover innovative solutions that change systems, benefiting communities that have been historically disadvantaged and improving our world for everyone in it.

Overview

The Partnerships team function was formed in 2019, shaped by early learnings of pioneering partnerships. Using three interconnected levers for impact, strategic partnerships work at the “grasstops” and “grassroots” level to strengthen multi-stakeholder partnerships and engage people with lived expertise in decision-making to improve partnership design, streamline funding and ensure advocacy efforts represent the actual needs of people.
