Investment approach

Our internal investment team was created in July 2008 to oversee the Foundation's asset management program. This team engages external money managers to invest globally across different asset classes.

As an organization established to exist in perpetuity, we take a long-term view toward asset management. As of March 31, 2013 Foundation assets were in excess of $2.2 billion. Including related charitable entities, total Foundation assets approximate $3.9 billion. The Foundation's assets are invested using the following asset allocation targets:
