Program Associate, Domestic Programs
Sam Spiewak coordinates domestic grantmaking activities for the program department of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. He monitors current grants and supports the development, review, and presentation of domestic grant proposals, with a focus on the Foundation’s multiple sclerosis and hospitality education program areas, for consideration by the Foundation board of directors. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, Spiewak worked for the Stanford University Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society, where he managed the Center’s public programs and research activities. He also previously worked in development at the Stanford Law School. He holds a master’s degree in journalism from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and a bachelor’s degree in literature from Antioch College.
