Richelle Pittella

Richelle Pittella is responsible for the implementation of processes and the development of documentation to support continuous improvement in the Foundation’s practice of grantmaking. She also plays a critical role in transforming complex data sets and concepts into visually compelling and actionable insights. Her expertise in data visualization techniques, tools and best practices helps drive data-driven decision-making.

Prior, Pittella served the Partnerships, Advocacy and Communications department as digital and creative designer, executing digital and creative projects in alignment with the Foundation’s visual identity and producing engaging content integral to its global mission. Pittella also previously supported the Executive Office and board of directors as board relations coordinator. There she served as secretary to the Executive Committee and Nominating Committee; managed the Generations in Giving and Board Internship programs; coordinated the compilation of quarterly meeting materials; and assisted with other special projects.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Pittella served as an administrative coordinator to both the Evaluation and Learning department and the Strategy and Programs department at the David and Lucile Packard Foundation in Los Altos, California, and worked at the Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA in Burlingame, California, as their designer, webmaster and social media coordinator. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration focused in entrepreneurial studies from Temple University in Philadelphia and is currently working toward her M.S. in integrated design, business and technology from USC.
