Richelle Alva plays a vital role in shaping, implementing, facilitating and assessing learning initiatives. Additionally, Richelle manages the internship and fellowship program and fosters an equitable and inclusive environment by operationalizing the diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging (DEIB) strategy.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Alva worked in the health insurance industry for several years at Anthem Inc. before switching to preventative care and becoming certified as a personal trainer and health coach, which she continues to do alongside her work at the Foundation. Her passion for helping others is in perfect alignment with her role, her values and those of the Foundation.
