Nana SangBender

Nana SangBender is program officer, Catholic Sisters (Africa) at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. In this role, SangBender supports the management of the Catholic Sisters grant portfolio, working closely with the senior program officer. 

Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, she served as regional development specialist at Lions Club International Foundation, where she supported their fundraising campaign for the Africa Program. SangBender has over sevenyears of experience, primarily supporting USAID-funded projects focusing on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, includingfundraising efforts in Africa and Southeast Asia. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and a Master of Arts in International Development and Global Health from the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University and an Master of Social Work from Howard University School of Social Work.
