Marco Lemus

Marco Lemus coordinates and supports grant making activities for the Catholic Sisters program for the U.S. and Latin America at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, Lemus worked as a Program Coordinator for a Catholic Charities food resource center in San Diego County where he led all operations including provision of direct services, grant management, volunteer staffing, and holiday distributions. He then led all public education and outreach activities as a Community Engagement Specialist for Catholic Charities’ immigrant services department through workshops and informational events in San Diego and Imperial Counties. Lemus also previously served as Interim Coordinator for the Diocese of San Diego’s mental health ministry network, where he collaborated with parish mental health ministries in providing education, spiritual accompaniment, and referrals to professional help. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from CSU San Marcos.
