Frederique Nijenhuis is responsible for booking and managing all travel arrangements for the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation staff and guests. She feels fortunate to be able to offer her service skills and love of travel to contribute to the Hilton Foundation’s larger purpose of alleviating human suffering.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Nijenhuis was an office manager for 10 years at a PR Agency in Sherman Oaks. She gained extensive expertise in booking and managing travel working in the travel industry for 12 years, by first managing a retail travel agency for students and, later, a boutique tour operating agency.
A native of The Netherlands, she earned a bachelor’s degree in English and geography at the University of Amsterdam. Outside of the office, she can be found volunteering at the Dutch School in Los Angeles, Zumba dancing or enjoying live music.
