Eduardo Moreno Cerezo

Eduardo Moreno Cerezo supports the Catholic Sisters Initiative at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation as a program officer for the U.S./Latin American sub-team. In this role, he serves as a key thought partner responsible for designing, developing, managing and monitoring a portfolio of grants that support congregations, organizations,and human development activities in the U.S. and Latin America.

Prior to the Foundation, Moreno Cerezo worked for Providence Saint Joseph Health in Southern California as a Healthy Communities manager. In that capacity, he provided strategic direction and oversight of Mission Hospital’s Community Health Investment programs to enhance the quality of life of vulnerable and underserved communities in Orange County. His portfolio included work on homelessness and affordable housing, equity and racial disparities, immigrant relief services, access to care, economic mobility, education and civic engagement.

Moreno Cerezo has more than 18 years of experience addressing health disparities and equity with multi-cultural groups working on public health, human development, social policy, advocacy and grantmaking at health care and non-profit organizations in the U.S., Colombia and El Salvador.

Moreno Cerezo has a bachelor’s degree in social communications and journalism from the Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, as well as a Master of Arts in Latin American Studies and a Master of Public Affairs, both from the University of Texas at Austin.
