Leslie A. Smith

Financial Assistant

Leslie Smith joined the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation in 2005 and supports the assistant treasurer with day-to-day administration and financial operations. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, she worked for North Coast Opportunities, Inc./Rural Communities Child Care, a nonprofit organization in Northern California that helps low-income families access quality childcare. Smith worked in family law for 13 years, first as a legal secretary, and later as a legal assistant. In these roles, she assisted attorneys as they handled child custody, estate planning, divorce, dissolution of businesses, pre-nuptial and support cases. Smith has volunteered for the Boy Scouts of America for more than 10 years. She holds a paralegal certificate from Sonoma State University and currently attends the University of Nevada, Reno, as an undergraduate student at the College of Business Administration/Accounting.
