2012 Hilton Humanitarian Prize Keynote Announced
On April 16, 2012 Robert B. Zoellick will deliver the keynote address at the 2012 Conrad N. Hilton Humanitarian Prize dinner in Washington, D.C. Mr. Zoellick became the 11th president of the World Bank Group in 2007. Prior to joining the Bank, Mr. Zoellick served as vice chairman, International of the Goldman Sachs Group. He served in the President’s Cabinet as the 13th U.S. Trade Representative from 2001 to 2005 and as deputy secretary of state from 2005 to 2006. From 1985-1993, Mr. Zoellick served at the Treasury and State Departments, as well as briefly in the White House. He earned a J.D. magna cum laude from the Harvard Law School, a MPP from the Kennedy School of Government, and a BA (Honors, Phi Beta Kappa) from Swarthmore College.

About the Hilton Humanitarian Prize
Following selection by an independent international jury, the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation awards the annual $1.5 million Humanitarian Prize to a nonprofit organization doing extraordinary work to alleviate human suffering. Created in 1996, the Prize helps recognize and advance the efforts of the recipient organizations, and calls attention to the worldwide need for humanitarian aid and support.
