Matthew Adams, CPA
Investment Accounting Manager
Matthew Adams is responsible for the investment portfolio accounting for the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation, the 2006 Barron Hilton Charitable Remainder Unitrust and the William Barron Hilton Charitable Remainder Unitrust. His responsibilities include reconciling investment accounting records against the custodian, ensuring proper accounting treatment of the portfolios’ investments, internal control enhancement & development, audit assistance & coordination, financial reporting preparation & analysis and various ad hoc projects. Prior to working at the Foundation, Adams has worked in several capacities at many financial services companies including Western Asset Management, Colony Capital, American Realty Advisors and most recently the Bank of New York Mellon (BNY Mellon). At BNY Mellon, he was a vice president responsible for operations, accounting, reporting and client service for several clients’ investment funds. Adams graduated from California State University, Northridge with a bachelor’s degree in business administration and is a certified public accountant. Adams serves his community through involvement with Habitat for Humanity.
