Kara Lemma

Kara Lemma coordinates grantmaking activities for the program department of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. Lemma monitors current grants and supports the development, review, and presentation of grant proposals related to the Catholic Sisters Initiative and to supporting Catholic schools in the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, Lemma served as a Writing Associate for the Graduate Transition Center at Mount St. Mary’s College and taught undergraduate sociology courses at the University of La Verne. She received her bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD degrees in sociology from the University of Southern California.
