Program Associate, International Programs
Christina Callegari coordinates grantmaking activities for the international program department at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. She monitors grants and contributes to the development, review and presentation of grant proposals related to the Young Children Affected by HIV and AIDS Strategic Initiative. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, Callegari was a project manager at Global Public Affairs at UCLA and was an intern at the National Center for Child Traumatic Stress. She has experience working with foster youth in Ventura County. Internationally, she has years of experience working with orphans and vulnerable children affected by HIV and AIDS in Eastern and Southern Africa. Callegari has bachelor’s degrees in both human biology and psychology from the University of California, San Diego, and received her master’s degree in social welfare from the UCLA Luskin School of Public Affairs.
