
Carmen Vargas supports the recruitment efforts at the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation. In this role, Vargas partners with managers and the Talent and Culture team to execute workforce planning strategies, including the internship and fellowship programs. As part of the Foundation’s attract and recruitment efforts, Vargas ensures a high level of integrity around fair assessment and careful conversion of diverse candidates. Over the past 10 years, Vargas has partnered with various industries as a strategic business partner. Before joining the Foundation, Vargas worked for California Community Foundation. There she was responsible for managing talent acquisition, improving process and management effectiveness, and performance management. Vargas holds two degrees from Colorado State University, including a Master of Science in organizational leadership and a Bachelor of Science in marketing.
