Sr. Agnes Njeri serves as program officer for Catholic Sisters initiative in Africa. . In this role, she works closely with the senior program officer to design, implement, and monitor a portfolio of grants within the Catholic Sisters initiative. She also helps identify potential grantees, assist with proposal development, provide grantee technical support, and monitor grant progress.
Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, Sr. Njeri worked in Tangaza University College in Nairobi as an educator as well as in top management of the University College where she mentored and encouraged Catholic sister students to unleash their full potential. She has been working with Catholic sisters for more than 15 years, including in many different leadership positions Through her engagement in this work, she has developed a great passion in working and sharing her expertise and rich experiences with Catholic sisters to enable them to improve their services.
