Amy Macaux
Program Associate, International Programs
Amy Macaux works with the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s international grant program team, helping to develop, review, and present international grant proposals for consideration by the Foundation’s board of directors, as well as monitoring current grants and acting as a liaison between program staff, grantees and external consultants. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, Macaux worked on domestic water supply and water quality issues for the Natural Resources Defense Council, an environmental action non-profit organization. She has also held positions as a program associate with Energy Foundation in San Francisco, coordinating grant making for the power and biofuels programs, as well as with Altshuler Berzon LLP, a civil liberties and environmental law firm. Macaux graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English and Sociology from Indiana University and has spent extensive time living in South and Southeast Asia.
