Jay Kang, CFA

Director of Investments

Jay Kang supports the strategic development and ongoing management of the Conrad N. Hilton Foundation’s investment portfolio. In this role he monitors existing managers and evaluates prospective managers in all asset classes, leads asset allocation reviews, and assesses liquidity needs. Prior to joining the Hilton Foundation, he was an equity analyst with Emerging Markets Management, a senior financial analyst at Sears Holdings Corporation, and a senior financial analyst at the Yale Investments Office, where he worked primarily on domestic equity, foreign equity, absolute return, and cash management. Kang earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Yale University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charterholder.
