Hawley Hilton McAuliffe

Granddaughter of our founder, Hawley Hilton McAuliffe has long been an active community volunteer.

McAuliffe serves as a Eucharistic minister for the elderly at Parsonage Cottage and at St. Roch's Catholic Church in Greenwich, Connecticut. She has donated her time to the Archdiocese of New York, Irvington House, New York Lying-In Hospital, and TheatreworksUSA and is a member of the advisory board of St. Ann Place, an outreach center serving homeless women and men in West Palm Beach, Florida. After volunteering for more than 10 years at The Nathaniel Witherell Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, she now volunteers at Hospice of Palm Beach County and Hospice & Palliative Care of Westchester, New York. McAuliffe has also donated her time to the Garden Club of America, Grass River Garden Club, and Hortulus Garden Club. She is a Garden Club of America Approved Horticulture Judge.

Like others in the Hilton family, her career led her to the hospitaltiy industry, where she worked in public relations at the Waldorf Astoria hotel. She currently serves on the Cornell School of Hotel Administration Dean's Advisory Board.

McAuliffe has studied at Woodbury College, UCLA, and the NYU Heyman Center for Philanthropy and Fundraising. In 2000, she was installed as a Dame of Malta. She serves on the governing board of the Conrad N. Hilton Fund for Sisters.
