Maira Silverio

Administrative Assistant, Grant Programs

Maira Silverio provides administrative support primarily to the Vice President, Grant Programs as well as other senior staff members in the Grant Programs team and assists with special projects. Before joining the Foundation, Silverio volunteered for various programs in her native city, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil aiding impoverished families and inner city youths by building homes, assisting health care, schooling the illiterate and counseling delinquent minors. At home, she donates and volunteers her time to support non-profit organizations that address current environmental, political and health care issues. She holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, San Diego.
